What Are They?
Mini dessert cups layered with coffee-soaked cookies, mascarpone cream, and a dusting of cocoa powder all in a handy, portable treat.
Ingredients:
• 20–24 soft chocolate or coffee-flavored cookies (like ladyfingers or soft chocolate wafers)
• 1 cup (240 ml) strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled
• 1 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
• 1 cup (240 g) mascarpone cheese, softened
• 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
• 1/3 cup (40 g) powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions:
1 Mix coffee and liqueur in a shallow dish. Quickly dip each cookie to soak (don’t let them get soggy).
2 In a bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gently fold mascarpone into the whipped cream until smooth.
3 Assemble cups:
◦ Place soaked cookie pieces at the bottom of small serving cups or jars.
◦ Add a layer of mascarpone cream.
◦ Repeat layers, finishing with mascarpone cream on top.
4 Dust cocoa powder generously on top.
5 Chill for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
6 Serve chilled and enjoy your elegant mini tiramisu treats!
Tips:
• Use sturdy cookies that won’t fall apart too easily when dipped.
• For a boozy kick, add more coffee liqueur or a splash of rum.
• Garnish with shaved chocolate or espresso beans for extra flair.
