Marble Pound Cake (Chocolate & Vanilla Marble Cake)
This classic pound cake is dense, moist, and richly flavored, combining chocolate and vanilla in a single slice. The added ganache takes the flavor to new heights.

• Grease and lightly flour a 23×13 cm (9×5 inch) cake pan.

2. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3. Alternately spoon the vanilla and chocolate mixtures into the pan.
4. Lightly swirl with a fork to create a marble pattern.
4. Baking
• Bake in a preheated oven for 45–55 minutes.
• The cake is ready when a toothpick comes out clean.
5. Resting & Serving
• Let the cake rest in the pan for 15–20 minutes.
• Remove from the pan and decorate with ganache or powdered sugar, if desired.
• Serve sliced.
Tips
• Using eggs and sour cream at room temperature ensures the cake is moist but dense.
• Do not overmix the marble pattern; otherwise, it will become a single color.
