👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Cake Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 8-inch round pans or one 9-inch deep pan and line with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, and black pepper. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, cream the butter and two types of sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla.
4. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients, chai tea, and milk alternately. Start and end with the dry ingredients. The batter should smell warm and spicy.
5. Pour the batter into your prepared pan(s) and bake until a toothpick comes out clean—28–32 minutes for a layered cake, 40–45 minutes for a single-layer cake. Let cool completely.

2. Cream Preparation
1. Beat the butter until creamy and fluffy.
2. Slowly add the powdered sugar, then the vanilla, cream, and chai spices. Beat until light, smooth, and fragrant.

3. Assemble the Cake
1. Spread a generous amount of cream between the layers.
2. Cover the top and sides with the remaining cream.
3. Optional: For a café-style look, sprinkle cinnamon on top or drizzle with caramel.

💛 Result: Soft, spiced layers, warm chai notes, and creamy, aromatic cream in perfect harmony—a dessert that makes you feel like you’re in a cozy café right at home.
