📝 Ingredients:
For the Chocolate Cake Layers:
• 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
• 2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
• ¾ cup (75 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk
• ½ cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup (240 ml) hot water or coffee
For the Caramel Peanut Filling:
• 1 cup creamy caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
• 1 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
For the Nougat Frosting:
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• ½ cup marshmallow fluff (or homemade marshmallow creme)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
For the Chocolate Ganache Topping:
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 8 oz (225 g) semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Bake the Chocolate Cake Layers:
1 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
2 In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
3 Add buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
4 Gradually add hot water or coffee, mixing well (batter will be thin).
5 Divide batter evenly among pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
6 Cool completely.
2. Prepare the Nougat Frosting:
1 Beat butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
2 Add marshmallow fluff and vanilla extract, beat until creamy.
3 Fold in chopped peanuts if using.
3. Assemble the Cake:
1 Place first cake layer on serving plate.
2 Spread a layer of caramel sauce and sprinkle chopped peanuts evenly.
3 Spread a generous layer of nougat frosting.
4 Repeat with remaining layers.
5 Top the final layer with nougat frosting.
4. Make the Ganache:
1 Heat heavy cream until just simmering.
2 Pour over chopped chocolate. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
3 Pour ganache over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
Serving Tip:
Garnish with extra chopped peanuts, caramel drizzle, or mini Snickers bars for the ultimate presentation!
